Robusta coffee has a higher caffeine content then Arabica coffee beans. It is most often used in espresso blend to give that extra punch and crema. Just a pinch will do a fine job. Peaberry grade is the effect of the coffee cherry fruit which only produces one seed as opposed to having two seeds in the typical coffee fruit. Another superior feature or advantage for roasting the Peaberry is the consistent uniformity of bean size. Medium-dark roast for your espresso blend! __________________________________________________________________________________________________
Monsooned coffees are stored in special warehouses until the Monsoon season comes around. The sides of the structure are opened and moist monsoon winds circulate around the coffee making it swell in size and take on the famous mellow, but uncompromising, musty flavor. This process turns the bean a golden tan. Mainly used in espresso blending for the thick creama, nutty flavor, heavy body and low acidity. Medium-dark to a dark roast for that prefect espresso. __________________________________________________________________________________________________

Everest, the tallest mountain in the world, Nepal is a poor country, but is rich in culture and scenic pleasures. Situated in the southern Himalayan flank, Nepal is roughly rectangular in shape with a total area of 147,181 km2. The country is landlocked and bordered by India in the East, West and South, and China in the North. Coffee is grown throughout the country's hill regions, including in the conflict-affected western and mid-western regions. At 40 tons, current production of processed beans in Nepal is very low. Most of Nepal's coffee is produced by small farmers who plant coffee on a portion of their land. Nepal's unique climate and terrain, together with the pre-existing suitable Arabic coffee trees, produce a very high quality coffee. Himalayan Washed Nepal is delicious at any roast! We are donating $1 from every pound of this coffee sold to Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit rescue organization in Florida that cares for abused, abandoned and retired cats, such as the snow leopard, which lives in the snowy Himalayas. Drink the coffee and know you’re helping contribute to a good cause! |
