Sumatra, in the Indonesia Archipelago, has a wonderful heavy coffee of its own. Mandheling has an earthy aroma and low acidity, which makes its flavor full and rich. The wood smoke-like and syrupy aftertaste would top off a heavy meal. Blend with a sharp, snappy, acidic coffee such as a Kenya, Tanzania or a Central American for that fabulous secret, signature blend that everyone keeps asking about. This is a great bean for hot or cold coffee drinks. It is highly recommended at a dark roast but a medium roast is satisfactory. You decide! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Aged Mandheling
Sumatra in the
Indonesia Archipelago, has a wonderful heavy coffee of its own. Aged
Mandheling is produced by storing the coffee bean in a climate controlled
warehouse for a period of four to five years. In this process the green coffee
beans will age allowing the body to slowly increase in heaviness while the
acidity gradually declines, leaving a rich syrupy coffee. Blend with a sharp,
snappy, acidic coffee such as a Kenya, Tanzania or a Central American for that
fabulous secret, signature blend that everyone keeps asking about. This is a
great bean for hot or cold coffee drinks. It is highly recommended at a dark
